Welcome to Miller Livestock, your source for Simmental and Angus bloodlines in central Alberta.  We focus on the fundamentals of structure and performance based cattle to provide our clients with genetics capable of being long lasting and profitable. Our goal has been simple from the start, raising cattle that perform well on forage diets typically found in North America. While we also use the show ring to market our cattle the rest of the herd is ran on grass and hay diets for most of the year with added grain and minerals during calving and breeding seasons.

We are located in Cremona, Alberta where we own and operate Miller Livestock. Chase grew up on a large animal reproductive facility where he was first introduced to purebred seedstock producers and began to breed his own cattle over a now 18 year span. Chase has worked alongside industry professionals in Canada, USA, and Australia where he has honed his eye for breeding and judging livestock. It is a great passion for Chase to adjudicate shows and he has been fortunate enough to judge across Western Canada, Ontario, and Oklahoma Youth Expo.  

 

Alana grew up in Cloverdale, BC with her family raising purebred and percentage Maine-Anjou, where she came up through the junior livestock industry, showing and working cattle throughout Western Canada, Australia and the US. Alana has judged across western Canada including the Pacific National Exhibition, Farmfair International and Canadian Western Agribition. Alana also owns and operates Highpoint Design and Photography, where she helps purebred and commercial producers brand and market their cattle to get the most out of their programs.

 

Miller Livestock consists of 50 head of purebred Simmental and Black Angus cattle with a heavy focus on embryo transfer and AI utilizing the best available genetics from each respective breed.
